Ben & Rachel Kask

Ben and Rachel are currently pursuing their love of other cultures by living and teaching in Taipei, Taiwan. Rachel is a middle school reading teacher at Grace Christian Academy. Ben is the P.E. and Bible teacher, in addition to his role as the middle school athletic director.

    Ben Kask

    Ben Kask is a Colorado native. He graduated in 1997 from Fort Collins High School in Fort Collins, CO. He received his BA from the University of Northern Colorado in 2001. In 2004, he received his MA from Lee University in Cleveland, TN. Since getting his bachelors degree in 2001, Ben has gained experience as a math teacher and as a coach. Ben is passionate about coaching youth. He has coached many sports including: football, wrestling, track and field, baseball, and girl's soccer.

    Ben has a deep love for international ministry. Ben's first ministry experience was at Woodbine Ranch (where he met his wife). He served at the ranch from 1998-2001 as a counselor and a program leader. His international experience started in college when he went on several missions trips to Mexico and built houses. In 2000, he studied at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. In 2001, He found his passion for teaching while serving the Lord in East Asia.

    Rachel Kask

    Rachel Kask (Jones) was born in Iowa, but has lived most of her life in Colorado. She graduated from Holyoke High School in Holyoke, Colorado (where her father is a pastor). Rachel was the president of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) at her high school. Rachel attended Northwestern College in Minnesota before transferring to the University of Northern Colorado where she recently completed her BA. Rachel has had student teaching experiences in Colorado and Tennessee (a true cross-cultural experience). Rachel has a love for volleyball and basketball, which she has a desire to coach in the future.

    Rachel has desired to use teaching as a mission's tool and is excited to begin her teaching career overseas. As a pastor's daughter, Rachel has been behind the scenes in ministry since she can remember. She has served at Woodbine Ranch as a counselor and a lifeguard, where she was used to lead many children to Christ. She had an incredible opportunity to serve God in Japan, and this experience helped her realize her desire to serve overseas full-time.
